Sri Krishna and Arjuna in Kurukshetra Battle |
Shri Krishna says in Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 2, Verse: 47
The verse is— कर्मण्येवाधिकारस्ते मा फलेषु कदाचन।
मा कर्मफलहेतुर्भूर्मा ते सङ्गोऽस्त्वकर्मणि॥ २-४७
In Roman scripts— Karmanye vadhikaraste Ma Phaleshu Kadachana,
Ma Karmaphalaheturbhurma Te Sangostvakarmani
The meaning of the verse is—
You have the right to work only but never to its fruits.
Let not the fruits of action be your motive, nor let your attachment be to inaction.
If a man does his Karma of doing the prescribed duty of having an occupation, i.e, Upadhi, Money follows, that is how it is.
A wiseman has a control over his expenses.
Henceforth, having an Upadhi leads to having Sampathi.
Having Sampathi leads to have a comfortable life.
