Significance of Upadhi

Sri Krishna and Arjuna in Kurukshetra Battle

Shri Krishna says in Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 2, Verse: 47

The verse is—            कर्मण्येवाधिकारस्ते मा फलेषु कदाचन।
                                     मा कर्मफलहेतुर्भूर्मा ते सङ्गोऽस्त्वकर्मणि॥ २-४७

In Roman scripts—     Karmanye vadhikaraste Ma Phaleshu Kadachana,
                                        Ma Karmaphalaheturbhurma Te Sangostvakarmani

The meaning of the verse is—
You have the right to work only but never to its fruits.
Let not the fruits of action be your motive, nor let your attachment be to inaction.

If a man does his Karma of doing the prescribed duty of having an occupation, i.e, Upadhi, Money follows, that is how it is.

A wiseman has a control over his expenses.

Henceforth, having an Upadhi leads to having Sampathi.

Having Sampathi leads to have a comfortable life.

ISKON Temple in the hands of Bharathiya

Krishna Radharani

Iskon Temple was founded by A.C. Bhakthivedanta Swami Prabhupada in New York, USA some 50 years back. Its has been doing well and branches are there of ISKON Temple worldwide. The headquarters of Iskon Temple is in Mayapur, West Bengal, India.

I guess, Bhatkhivedanta Swami Prabhupada was influenced by the idea of Christian Missionaries, coming to India and propagating Christianity in India, by converting some Hindus into Christians. He was following the same idea, and started a Hindu Missionary in the USA to propagate Hindu Religion outside India.

The idea of propagating Christianity in other lands may be okay for Christians, but we Hindus cannot stomach firangis becoming Hindus and worshipping Krishna. When in Indian Society, we cannot stomach the White Race to rule over us, and we fought for Independence from British Raj, how can we imagine our Religion to be handed over to firangis. I find it disgusting to see that a firangi dressed as a Swami and dancing to the tunes of Krishna Bhajan. Its complete pollution of Hindu Religion.

Also, I understand that Iskon Temple gets lots of money in the form of Donations from Firangis. But, I say, we cannot handover Krishna to firangis for the sake of money. Its quite natural for a Bharatiya to worship Krishna and quite unnatural for a firangi to worship Krishna.

Its a good thing that Iskon Temple has its Head Quarters in Mayapur, West Bengal, India and not outside of India. This is really ideal.

Henceforth, the Krishna of Iskon Temple is termed as Mayapur Krishna. It is this Mayapur Krishna who is the presiding deity of Iskon Temples worldwide.

Also, it is to be noted that Krishna should be worshipped in Indian Languages only and not in English. So, i urge the ISKON Temple to have its literature in Hindi instead of English, and declare Hindi as its official language.

Hare Krishna.

In this sense, he is also called Girisham.

His is a guru and hence he is also called Gurushrestram. His is Vamsinath Khambham. The Khambham Neeti and Pannam Neeti are under this Vamsinath Khambham. He is also Dakshinamurthy.

The Panchvashyakam is the essential feature of his teachings, which means that a person has to have the Five Essentials of Roti, Kapda, Makaan, Sidhanth evam Sampathi in his life to have a meaningful life. Its Upadhi (Occupation) which gives this Panchavashyakam.

Congress Party should worship Bharat Mata

Bharat Mata

In this year 2023, if we see the plight of Congress party in India, then we feel if this is the party the Indian Public can depend on.

Congress is the Grand Old Party of India, with many Greats in its cadre in its rich history. All those Congressmen through out the history of Congress Party, were looked upon as Great Men who can guide the Indian Society on the right path. But today in the year 2023, who is the Congress Man who is looked upon as the Savior of Indian Society ? There is none.

There are people who have left the Congress Party to other parties, and Congress Party is devoid of good leadership.

In the past, when we see Mahatma Gandhi, Jawarharlal Nehru, Sardar Patel, BR Ambedkar and Indira Gandhi, then I think, can the party again get such stalwarts in its ranks now, for it to become the Great Congress Party of yesteryears.

The point is, Congress Party had huge fan following because, it believed in the concept of Bharat, and its leaders worshipped Bharat Mata. This ideology of Congress Party to remember Bharat Mata in all its activities has been forgotten by the Grand Old Party now, which explains it poor show in India.

Rather than inclining towards Worshipping Hindu Gods, like BJP does in its Hindutva Agenda ... Congress Party, being Democrats, should turn its attention towards worshipping Bharat Mata to regain its lost glory. Certainly, forgetting its past is a big blunder that Congress Party is doing, for which it should not be forgiven.

For Congress Party to shine, it should make Bharat Mata a part of its Campaign in every elections in the country, and should remember her in every aspect of her activities. Then it would regain its lost glory.

Bharat Mata Ki Jai ...
Jai Hind.

Sri Ishopanishad

Krishna Radharani

SRI ISHOPANISHAD

1. Everything animate or inanimate that is within  the universe is controlled and owned by the Lord. One should therefore accept only those things necessary for himself, which are set aside as his quota, and one should not accept other things, knowing well to whom they belong.

2. One may aspire to live for hundreds of years if he continuously goes on working in that way, for that sort of work will not bind him to the law of karma. There is no alternative to this way for man.

3. The killer of the soul, whoever he may be, must enter into the planets known as the worlds of the faithless, full of darkness and ignorance.

4. Although fixed in His abode, the Personality of Godhead is swifter than the mind and can overcome all others running. The powerful demigods cannot approach Him. Although in one place, He controls those who supply the air and rain. He surpasses all in excellence.

5. The Supreme Lord walks and does not walk. He is far away, but He is very near as well. He is within everything, and yet He is outside of everything.

6. He who sees everything in relation to the Supreme Lord, who sees all living entities as His parts and parcels, and who sees the Supreme Lord within everything never hates anything or any being.

7. One who always sees all living entities as spiritual sparks, in quality on with the Lord, becomes a true knower of things. What, then, can be illusion or anxiety for him ?

8. Such a person must factually know the greatest of all, the Personality of Godhead, who is unembodied, omniscient, beyond reproach, without veins, pure and uncontaminated, the self-sufficient philosopher who has been fulfilling everyone's desire since time immemorial.

9. Those who engage in the culture of nescient activities shall enter into the darkest region of ignorance. Worse still are those engaged in the culture of so-called knowledge.

10. The wise have explained that one result is derived from the culture of knowledge and that a different result is obtained from the culture of nescience.

11. Only one who can learn the process of nescience and that of transcendental knowledge side by side can transcend the influence of repeated birth and death and enjoy the full blessings of immortality.

12. Those who are engaged in the worship of demigods enter into the darkest region of ignorance, and still more so do the worshipers of the impersonal Absolute.

13. It is said that one result is obtained by worshipping the supreme cause of all causes and that another result is obtained by worshiping what is not supreme. All this is head from undisturbed authorities, who clearly explained it.

14. One should know perfectly the Personality of Godhead Sri Krishna and His transcendental name, form, qualities and pastimes, as well as the temporary material creation with its temporary demigods, men and animals. When one knows these, he surpasses death and the ephemeral cosmic manifestation with it, and in the eternal kingdom of God he enjoys his eternal life of bliss and knowledge.

15. O my Lord, sustainer of all that lives, Your real face is covered by Your dazzling effulgence. Kindly remove that covering and exhibit Yourself to Your pure devotee.

16. O my Lord, O primeval philosopher, maintainer of the universe, O regulating principle, destination of the pure devotees, well-wisher of the progenitors of mankind, please remove the effulgence of Your transcendental rays so that I can see Your form of bliss. You are the eternal Supreme Personality of Godhead, like unto the sun, as am I.

17. Let this temporary body be burnt to ashes, and let the air of life be merged with the totality of air. Now, O my Lord, please remember all my sacrifices, and because You are the ultimate beneficiary, please remember all that I have done for You.

18. O my Lord, as powerful as fire, O omnipotent one, now I offer You all obeisances, falling on the ground at Your feet. O my Lord, please lead me on the right path to reach You, and since You know all that I have done in the past, please free me from the reactions to my past sins so that there will be no hinderance to any progress.

HARE KRISHNA ...

The Journey of an Athma

In Hindu Dharma, we know that an athma has to take repeated births and deaths and change its body as a Jeeva Raasi. After the Punya and Paapa of a Jeevathma get balanced and equal, and there is no trace of either Punya or Paapa left, it gets salvation.

When a jeevathma gets salvation, then a diety should give sanctuary to it, and take it to their eternal abode in the cosmos. If by sheer luck of the jeevathma, it manages to impress a diety, then it will get the diety's abode in cosmos as its home for eternity. If not, the jeevathma which gets liberation, roams around in this dharthi (earth) and stays on this earth only.

During this journey of an Athma, its through past births merits that a jeevathma gets a Human Birth. The faculties of Human Body help a jeevathma worship a diety and impress him/her and after death, goes to the eternal ebode of the diety, stays there till it enjoys merits it earned while living in human body, and after that return back of dharti to take another jeevarasi birth on this dharti.

But, if an jeevathathma through ill luck, is unable to find a preceptor diety, then after death, the athma roams around on this dharti as a Bhatakthi Athma.

Not all dieties in Hindustan have their own Eternal Abode in the Cosmos. Some Shivas have it, Venkateshwara has it, Durga has it, Krishna has it and Shirdi Saibaba has it.

So, a manushya should be careful in his dealings in this duniya and strive to impress his/her isthadhaivam and thereby ensure after death goes to his isthadhvaim's eternal abode in cosmos.

Shiva Parivaram

Vamsinath says that one should do Shiva Puja and should follow the principle of Panchavashyakam while he/she is living on this dharthi. If an athma impresses Vamsinath, then he/she will go to the Eternal Abode of Vamsinath which is Vamsinath Dham.

Vamsinath Bhashyam

 1. The man in the family should provide for the Panchavashyakam needs of his family.

Women in the family is Gruhalakshmi and is Karyakari Devi.

2. Panchavashyakam means Ruchikam, Vasthram, Gruham, Sidhantham evam Sampathim.

This is nothing but providing for Roti, Kapda, Makaan, Sidhanth and Sampathi for the family.

3. A man should always consider his Kutumbam (family) as his Jeevana Kendrabindu (Centre of His Life). His Bandhu Sakha (Relatives and Friends) are the actors in the life of a man.

3. Sidhantham means Maunam, Nidhanam, Maryadham, Ekantham evam Samaikhyam which a man and his family members have to follow in their life to have a meaningful life.

4. Shiva is the sole diety of the family. A man should do Shiva Puja, and think of Shiva Parivaram (and chant Shivagirisha Sthothram). Even Ram used to worship Shiva as Shiva is Yagyamurthi.

5. A person should worry about two things in his/her life. Living Life (in this Duniya) and After Life (Parlok).

After death, a person as an athma goes to parlok and then after that again takes Punarjanm. So, in this life, a person should follow Panchavashyakam and do Shiva Puja, to get good afterlife in parlok and also good life in Punarjanam.

6. The ruler should consider the nara of Jai Jawan Jai Kisan as his main ruling plank.

Providing Food/Clothes and security to his people are the primary activities of a ruler.

All other activities are secondary activities of a ruler.

7. The Bhakthas of Vamsinath worship Krishna whose parampara is Komati Vaishnava. Komati Vaishnavas worship Vishnu and his various forms as Kalki.
